Librarian

Urbana Theological Seminary is seeking a part-time Librarian to oversee all Seminary Library functions.

Position Functions and Major Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day oversight of the Seminary Library. Supervise volunteers and Library student workers. Catalog new acquisitions and donations using LiBRARYSOFT automation software. Acknowledge and manage donated materials. Acquisition of monograph, serial, and multi-media items. Manage library budget. Maintain relationship with University of Illinois Library and community libraries. Provide Library instruction for students in individual and class settings.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) and exceptional communication skills as well as the flexibility and willingness to grow with a new organization. Applicants must be able to abide by Urbana Theological Seminary’s Statement of Belief and agree with the mission and vision of the institution.
