The Staff of Urbana Theological Seminary are responsible for the administration of the school and its programs so as to best serve the needs of students.

KENNETH CUFFEY

After serving in full-time pastoral ministry (Indiana, New Jersey), Dr. Cuffey came to Champaign-Urbana in 1994 at the founding of the Christian Studies Center, the predecessor to Urbana Theological Seminary. He taught courses in Biblical Studies and Practical Ministry for the Center from 1994 until 2003. At the inauguration of Urbana Theological Seminary, he was named President of the Seminary and Professor of Biblical Studies. He teaches courses in Old and New Testament as well as Hebrew and Greek language and Exegesis. Special research and publication interests include the literary coherence of Old Testament prophetic and wisdom books and biblical theology. As President of the Seminary he provides leadership for the school, overseeing its people and programs, and the fulfillment of its mission.

Todd Daly's experience as an engineer for Motorola Corporation and his academic pursuits of theology brings a broad background and unique perspective to the Seminary. His involvement with churches has provided him with a breadth of understanding of different styles, ministries, and denominations. Schooled in both the American and British systems, his research has focused within the field of Systematic Theology on concerns of Bioethics. His dissertation delves into ethical implications that arise from the medical prolongation of life and aging.

MIKE McQUEEN

Mike McQueen joined the Seminary in 2006 to fulfill two roles—Acting Academic Dean and a permanent part-time faculty member to teach in the areas of Missions and Evangelism. His research interests reflect his years of ministry experience working in cross-cultural settings, particularly with Chinese students and other internationals on the campus of the University of Illinois since 1987. Work in his doctoral program has focused especially on leadership development in the Chinese Christian community. He has also served in pastoral ministries in Colorado, California, and New York, as well as in a missionary capacity in England. He has done advanced study in Religion and in Chinese language at Jewish Theological Seminary (New York), UCLA, and the University of Illinois.

Ann Jones began working for the Christian Studies Center in 1999 after re-locating to the Champaign-Urbana area. She brought with her extensive experience in lay ministry and business insight gained from corporate industry. At the founding of Urbana Theological Seminary, she was appointed Dean of Administrative and Student Services. In this role, she oversees the school's student life programs and administrative services including registration, records, and bursar accounts. Additionally, Ms. Jones is involved in marketing, communications, and strategic planning for the future of the Seminary. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Education in Higher Education at the University of Illinois with a special interest in student life and services.

CARRIE BLOUNT

Carrie Blount utilizes her background in Finance as she manages the Seminary's bookkeeping. She led in the transition to new software that integrated and automated all of the financial functions, and oversees the formulation of financial policies. Her responsibilities include the process of course registration and overseeing student accounts. In addition, she works with the Development department to assist in the school's securing a solid financial base.

Ms. Chung combines an eye for effective and efficient organization in the Seminary office with a background in design that has rendered her services invaluable in the school's marketing efforts. Often she is the first contact students will have with the Seminary. She is known for her focus on service to the students and quality in all she produces.

Joe Siegel assumed the role of Librarian at Urbana Seminary in February of 2008. He combines strong educational backgrounds in economics, business, and theology with extensive vocational experience in the retail book trade. His skills at managing people and providing resources for research make him a valuable addition to the Seminary overall. Joe brings to the job a thorough knowledge of the realm of theological literature as well.
