BI 600—The Epistles of John

Description: A study of the books of I, II, and III John in English translation. Historical setting, issues of authorship and date, literary structure of the books, and an exposition of the overall message.

CH 612—The History of Evangelicalism and Fundamentalism

Description: A historical examination of the theology, popular beliefs, and folkways of American Evangelicalism and the rise of the movement known as Fundamentalism. Various groups included within the Evangelical family will be studied, including the Pentecostal and Charismatic movements. The modern multi-sided definition of the movements will also be explored as well as the history of evangelical and fundamentalist participation in American politics and public life.

Description: An overview of the Christian doctrines of scripture, God the Father, and Christ the Son along with a study of the work of Christ and the incarnation. A syllabus will be available through the Seminary Office in March.

PM 650—Practicum: Summer Short Term Mission

Time & Location: to be arranged with the instructor
Credit: 1-3 Credit Hours
Instructor: Michael McQueen
Description: This course will provide students with a practical, supervised experience in cross-cultural missions. This will be done in tandem with student selected and seminary approved mission agencies. The student is responsible to identify, apply for, and raise funding for the mission trip. The seminary will provide opportunity for relevant research and integration of the experience in reflective writing. The prospective student must have the approval of the instructor in order to enroll.
