Policies
Tuition Payments
The total tuition balance is due by the end of the fourth week of class by check or credit card (Visa, MC, Discover or American Express) at the school office.
If a student is unable to pay in full, he or she may pay a portion of the balance in monthly installments with the remaining due by the end of the semester. After the fourth week of class, the remaining tuition balance will be subject to a 2% finance charge until total payment is received. This charge will be assessed the 1st of every month. The Seminary will not release semester-end grades until payment is received in full and the student will only be allowed to register for the following semester after all bills from the previous semester have been settled.
Refund DeadlinesThe student will be released from their obligation to pay all of their tuition and fees:
| If classes are dropped before the 2nd week of classes | No tuition is liable |
The student may be released from their obligation to pay part of their tuition and fees:
| If classes are dropped before the 4th week of classes | 25% is liable |
| If classes are dropped before the 6th week of classes | 50% is liable |
| If classes are dropped before the 8th week of classes | 75% is liable |
| If classes are dropped after the 8th week of classes | 100% is liable |
*There is one exception to this policy. All summer or modular classes are subject to specific add/drop regulations posted for each individual summer semester or modular session.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Scholarships are available for credit Graduate students and for credit Undergraduate students taking classes through Judson College. Preferences in awarding scholarships will be given to graduate students who are enrolled in programs of the Seminary and undergraduate students who are interested in transferring their credit to the University of Illinois.
For a scholarship application, please contact the office or click here.
WORK STUDY
Students who are able to devote weekly, regular time at the school may inquire about a limited number of partial tuition remission scholarships. These positions follow the scholarship guidelines and are available for students who are enrolled for credit in a Seminary program.
